Rag Quilt Pincushions

I was working on a rag quilt and I had some extra squares so i made a couple of pincushions. They are really fun and easy to make. I love how they came out!

Learning to Sew

My mom got me a sewing machine for Christmas, and I made this with it today. It is a case for my iPad. I am not that good at sewing but I gave it my best shot :) I got the fabric in on of those "jelly roll" things from wal-mart. I didn't think that I was goign to like it very much when I bought it, but it turns out that I really love the prints that came with it.

DT Challenge 2011

Robyn over at My Pink Stamper is doing a challenge, and the winners get to be on her design team for the first part of 2011! The regulations are on her blog as to what you need to do to be entered.
For my card i use DCVW The Guy Stack, the flowers are buttons that I have had in my stash for a while, the cow is off of create-a-critter, the google eyes are from the doller store, and the bow is from offray stylish accents! Winter Wreath

This is a little wreath that I made using my cricut and the leaf off of winter woodland. I just cut out a bunch of them and hot glued them to a foam wreath. I am going to add some of those red berries that you can get at Michaels or Joanns. I am happy with the way that it turned out because when i was making it wasn't happy with it at all :)

Thank " Yo" Card

I made thos thank you card for my mom because she taught me how to make these yo-yos. I just love them and I love that I can put them on just about anything and they only take about 3 mins. I think that it turned out good and I cant wait to send it to her. :)

Another Snow Man Card

I am addicted to stamping lately. I have never been much of a stamper but my sister really got me into it. She showed me how to color the images so they are not so flat and boring. I thought that it would be hard but it turns out thats its really easy. i used the Tim Holtz Distress Ink to water color the image and I think that it turned out amazing!

Carmel Apple Card

this is a carmel apple card that I made for my parents. I got the idea from Sam off of youtube. Her screen name is pinkaboo6991. She does a wonderful job of teaching how she did this. I had to custom make the envelope though.
